Our Vision is to be a,

Welcome to our Visitors Page

St Edmunds Church 2015

Our Main Service Sunday has a Quiet Friendly Feel to it, we use the stillness, the symbols, the words of the Bible and the prayers to help us to encounter God.

Benedict Rule 1

We share a “Said Service” so there are no hymns or songs. The words on the sheet are primarily taken from the Bible and we use the Lectionary Readings of the week and season. This joins us to the wider Church throughout the World in Fellowship and Prayer.

When we meet as a Church Community we want to express our Love and Joy to God and to give our praise & thanksgiving to Jesus and we believe that Through the Presence and Ministry of the Holy Spirit this celebration gives honour and glory to God.

 10 oclock worship

Our Sunday Service Starts

at 10:00am

Our Worship is offered around Morning Prayer using a simple liturgy. There is a strong emphasis on the presence of the Holy Spirit. We believe, this sort of Prayer time will be very special and everyone is very welcome. We will finish this service of Communion Service at 11:00am. Then there is time for Coffee or Tea, to share and meet each other.

Our Prayers at 10:00am have two areas of Focus:

1.We Pray for those who have

not yet decided to go to Church.

    2. And then we pray for those who are
